No cookie-cutter setups, starting with picking a location that actually fits you. I’m constantly hunting for fresh, interesting spots because nobody wants the same old background everyone else has.

I always tell my seniors straight up: this session is mostly about you.
Like, 75 % you deciding the vibe and the statement you want to make as you step into adulthood… and maybe 25 % what Mom and Dad are hoping for. (Okay, real talk - it’s usually lands around 60/40, but we’re keeping it real.)
This is your moment. It’s about showing the world who you actually are right now. I’m here to help you do that with a some input from the parents, of course.
Bring whatever makes you you: the car you helped restore, your dog (or your show goat, no judgment), your sports gear, your favorite hoodie, your skateboard, your band instrument… literally anything. If you say “my style is X” but you don’t know the perfect spot, I’ve got the Y that makes it all click.

Family Portraits are a great storyteller that hang on the wall of your home. It’s a great way to show a glimpse of your family over the years. As a photographer, I like to handle family sessions in three simple steps:
1st: We meet, discuss what your expectations are.
2nd: We have our photo session, where everyone gets to have a good time.
3rd: I deliver your photos to you within 7 to 10 business days of our session.
When it comes to your family portraits, I want everyone to be involved and not left out if possible—so, that means bring that fuzzy four-legged family member too.

Whether you’re a seasoned model with years of experience or just starting out and building your first portfolio, Vagabond Photography has your back.
I’m also totally open to TFPs (Time For Prints) when our creative ideas line up or you’ve got a concept I’ve been dying to shoot. If the vibe feels right, let’s make it happen.
Most sessions run about 2 hours and include 2–3 different looks. We’ll pick a location that actually matches the story you want to tell — whether that’s moody city streets, open country roads, industrial spots, or something in between. No generic backdrops here.
