Portraits are a thing of beauty and art when done correctly, but they can also be good for business when you need to look professional. I’ve always thought that when personal touches are added to a photo, it gives the viewer a quick glimpse into the subject’s soul.
When you use Vagabond Photography for your Senior, Family, Headshot or Modeling portraits, its a one-of-a-kind type of photo session. I do my best to create a portrait that says this is who I am/we are, and it starts by setting the location (I try very hard to not always use the same locations), followed by clothing suggestions that fit you or you and your family’s personality, and lastly, and most importantly, bringing your personality out, all 110% of it.

Senior Portraits

I always tell my seniors this session is 75% about what you want and the statement you want to make now that your about to be an adult and 25% about what the parents want. Okay, so, maybe it’s 60%/40% in most cases. But, it is about you and who you are, and like I said above, I am here to help create a photo session that is unique to you and says who you are with a little help from mom and dad. I want you to incorporate what makes you, YOU; that can be anything from a car you helped restore, an animals (pet, show animals), sports and any and everything in between. If you say my style is X but I don’t have a location, chances are that I know the Y that complements your X, getting us to the right answer. The best thing about being between two major metropolitan areas is that there is a place somewhere in between that matches you.

Family Portraits

Family Portraits are a great storyteller that hang on the wall of your home. It’s a great way to show a glimpse of your family over the years. As a photographer, I like to handle family sessions in three simple steps:

• 1st: We meet, discuss what your expectations are.

• 2nd: We have our photo session, where everyone gets to have a good time.

• 3rd: I deliver your photos to you within 7 to 10 business days of our session.

When it comes to your family portraits, I want everyone to be involved and not left out if possible—so, that means bring that fuzzy four-legged family member too if you wish.

At Vagabond Photography, I understand that everyone needs to have a professional head-shot that you can use for an internet profile, business card and more, and that it needs to be done quickly. I can easily come to your place of work, do a quick setup with minimal disturbance to you and your work staff, and be in and out quickly. All I ask is that you are dressed and ready to go. I offer a few different backgrounds, or photos can be taken against a green screen, if you prefer, so that the final head-shot is on a background specific to your company.

Modeling

Whether you are a seasoned professional model or just someone that is looking to test the waters and start their portfolios, Vagabond Photography is here for you. This is also an area where I am willing to trade time for print if our ideas are aligned or you have an idea that I’ve always wanted to capture.
Generally, these sessions consist of two to three looks and are photographed over a 2-hour period. They are done at a location that fits what the client is looking to portray. I can photograph styles from country to city, and anything in between.
