At Vagabond Photography, I believe that no two weddings are alike. With my background in journalism, it makes me uniquely qualified to tell the story of you and your beloved’s memorable day. I also understand that a lot of consideration goes into picking the correct photographer for you and your loved one’s special day. To make sure your day goes off without a hitch, kerfuffle or big old snafu, I will be in contact and looking to have one or two face-to-face meetings with you to make sure everything is planned out accordingly for your big day.

Engagement sessions are honestly one of my favorite parts of the whole wedding journey. It’s the perfect way for us to hang out, get to know each other, laugh a little, and build that real connection before your big day. No awkward poses or stiff smiles, just you two being yourselves.
When you book with me, we’ll create a session that actually feels like you. Whether you want something chill in the city, adventurous in nature, or cozy at your favorite spot, I’ve got you covered.
You’ll walk away with 10–15 beautifully edited photos plus a full print release. And yeah, I do offer high-quality printing through Vagabond Photography if you want to turn those favorites into wall art or albums (but no pressure the files are yours to print wherever you like).How far am I willing to travel to photograph your wedding?
In short, I’m prepared to go anywhere in the world for your wedding. If there is something I love more than photography, it’s traveling, and if I can combine both, it’s never a rainy day. Even though I serve mainly Central and Southern Wisconsin, as well as Northern Illinois, I’m capable of traveling anywhere for your big day. What if you tell me that you and your loved one are planning on getting married around the penguins in Antarctica and would like me to be your photographer? Well, I’d be the happiest person in the world, thrilled to be a part of your big day and thrilled to be among the penguins.
So, you’re probably wondering… is it just me and a nice camera, or is there more?The answer is a big YES.
If you need/want a second photographer for your wedding, that can absolutely be arranged.
Something that I am also really excited to be able to offer is aerial wedding photography, bringing a whole new perspective to your wedding day and preserving memories from a unique viewpoint that is sure to wow anyone who sees them.
When your wedding day is all said and done and it comes to post production, I offer full service from album design and production to canvas photos and everyday prints. Yeah, these extras cost more than the cheap prints you’d get at Walmart or Walgreens… but the quality is on a totally different level. Your memories deserve better than blurry, faded drugstore prints.
